Brief Description: GRS 77 ALTITUDE AND HEADING REFERENCE SYS

ORIENTATION OF THE AHRS IS VERY INPORTANT AND MUST FOLLOW THE CRITERIA SPECIFIED BY THE LATEST REVISION OF THE GARMIN GRS 77 INSTALLATION MANUAL. THE AHRS IS MOUNTED IN THE REAR SHEARBOX LEFT HAND SIDE. 1 Level the aircraft both side to side and fore and aft. 2 Cut the 8" x 10" sheet of phenolic in half to make a 4" x 10" sheet 3 Centre the GRS 77 mounting rack on the 4" x 10" sheet , them match drillfor #10 nutplates. 4 install the nutpltes to the phenolic sheet, using rivets. 5 Mount the GRS77 mounting rack to the phenolic sheet. 6 Fasten the phenolic sheet to the top off the passthrough on the pilots side of the aft shearbox. 7 Mount the GRS 77 to the mounting rack, refering to the manufacturers installtion instructions.
