Brief Description: GTS800 TRAFFIC AND AWARENESS SYSTEM
ORIENTATION OF THE TRFFIC AND AWARENESS SYSTEM (TAS) IS NOT CRITICAL. INSTALL TH TAS AT ANY CONVENIENT LOCATION WITHIN THE HYDRAULICS BAY.
1 Make a platform out off phenolic sheet, using more phenolic sheet to make supports, that contour to the shape of the fusalage.Ensure the supports will not interfere with the mounting nutplates. Bond the platform and supports to the fusalage with flox.
2 allow the flox to fully cure.
3 Centre the TAS mouting rack on the platform and them match drill for #8 nutplate
4 Fasten the nutplates to the platform with rivets( AN426A3-4)
5 Mount the GTS800 TAS into the mounting rack in accordance with the manufacrtureres instructions.
