THE FORCE NECESSARY TO MOVE THE CONTROL STICKS IN ANY DIRECTION MUST BE NO GREATER THAN 1 POUND.
NOTE After all control surfaces have been installed , a check is to be made of the force rquired to ove the control stick.
1 Use a spring or digital hanging scale accurate to0.01 pound
2 Attach the scale to the control stick in the location as shown in the following figures. ( at the centre off the hand grip).
3Hold the scale perpendicular to the control stick when prforming the test. With the control stick in neutral position, pull on the scale and note the force required to move the stick.
4 Test both sticks for forward, aft left, and right.
5 If the force required to move the sticks is greater than 1 pound, check all connections, attachment hardware, clearances , etc. Re rig the system as required to reduce the control stick force.
