INFLATION OF THE DOOR SEAL REQUIRES A SYSTEM COMPRISING OF A PUMP, CHECK VAVLE, SOLENOID, PRESSURE SWITCH, AND MANUAL PNEUMATIC SWITCH.
1 Make a mounting platform out of aluminum sheet, e-glass or composite material tosupport the baggage door seal pump system. The platform should fit within the open area on te door and be the minimum height required to ensure the system does not interfere with the operation of the door. The standoff may be reveted or bonded to the door.
2 Install nutplates onto the paltform.
3 Rivet or bond the platform to the main door skin.
4 Mount the check vavle and the pressure switch to the stndoff panel with adel clamps.
5 Mount the manual pneumatic switch, switch cover, and the solenoid to the platform using an e-glass or composite angle.
