1 THE BUSHING USED BETWEEN THE TRUNNION AND THE TRAILING LINK MAY NEED TO HAVE THEIR FLANGES REDUCED FOR PROPER FIT. THIS IS DUE TO THE INCONSISTENCY OF POWDER COATING THIKNESS ON THE TRUNNION AND TRAILING EDGE LINK. USE THE FOLLOWING PRODCEDURE TO DETERMIN THE AMOUNT OF MATERIAL TO BE REMOVED.

. MEASUE THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE TRILING LINK TO THE TRUNNION ATTACHMENT FLANGES.

. MEASUR THE WIDTH OF THE TRUNNION OF THE FLANGES WHERE THE LINK IS ATTACHED .
.MEASUR THE THICKNESS OF THE FLANGE OF THE FLANGES ON BOTH HOUSING.

SUBTRACT THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE TRAILING LINK FLANGES FROM THE TOTAL WIDTH OF THE TRUNNION AND BUSHN GFLANGES. DIVIDE BY 2 AND REMOVE THIS AMOUNT OF MATERIAL FRO EACH BUSING FLANGE.

NOTE
IF THE WIDTH OF THE TRUNNION AND BUSHING FLANGES IS LESS THAN THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE FLANGES OF THE TRAILING LINK, USING THE BUSHING AS THEY ARE

2 INSERT A BUSHING INTO EACH F THE TRAILING LINK ATTACHMENT HOLE IN THE TRUNNION

3 ALIGN THE ATTACHMENT POINTS OF THE TRILING LINK WITH THE TRUNNION AND INSERT THE BOLT. THE BOLT HEAD GOES ON THE OUTBOARD SIDE OF THE TRUNNION AND LOCKS AGAINST A RAISED EDGE ON THE TRUNNION.

4 INSERT THE ZERK FITTING INTO THE BOLT HEAD. SEAT THE FITTING USING A RUBBER MALLET.

5 PLACE A WASJER BEHIND THE CASTELLATION NUT AND FASTEN THE BOLT. TORQUE THE NUT PER FIGURE 8.2.H.5 MAIN GEAR TORQUE VALUES AND SECURE IT WITH A COTTER PIN.
