Brief Description: Rivet fairings to spar and skin
Clecoed fairings into place. Double checked rivet sizes and markings. Riveted the top (470 4-x) rivets with wing flat on table. Most could be squeezed but a few needed gun and bucking bar. (ends and flap/aileron bracket areas) Tilted wing up and used blocks screwed to uprights to keep wing in place. Worked pretty well. Riveting one side required step stool and careful pressure using squeezer. Not much to push against to make sure rivet head remained flush. Ended up re-dimpling with hand squeezer to make sure skin and fairing were properly seated. Worked pretty well after that. 4 drill outs because head did not seat as flush as I wanted. 150 plus rivets one session!
