Brief Description: Prep to Drill out holes for #8 screw and #6 screw
Called Vans to verify that spar holes should be drilled out to size before countersinking. Answer: Yes. Also recommended that I use '20' skin and dimple to check depth. Better representation of fit; skin needs to fit nice and flat. All set up to go but also need to contact Cleveland Tools - sent wrong size countersink; #27 instead of #28?? Will verify tomorrow. May slow down and have to wait for replacement. 8/14/13 - update; cleave land tools says that Vans says that #27 countersink bit is OK to use. Still slightly to big. Cleveland tool is sending a #27 bit that matches the countersink #27.
