Brief Description: Mark and match drill AEX wedge to trailing edge
Drilled holes in AEX wedge to hold it straight on angle aluminum. Worked pretty well. Middle still wants to creep up / forward up inside skins. Drilled first hole in middle, then kept splitting the difference between ends and other holes. worked pretty well, much less creep than other side. Kept whole elevator sandbagged to make sure skin didn't bow or pull back. Electric drill worked better this time. Maybe the air drill bit needed sharpening? Marked AEX wedge by clamping square to edge of angle aluminum with 1/4" ruler protruding. Slid the wedge past the square, holding fine marker against the ruler. Good results.
