Counter sunk both sides of apex wedge. After finishing it was very clear that the wedge moved during drilling and that the holes were not straight. finished all the counter sinking and reassembles / clecoed skin / wedge / angle. there is a 3/32 difference / gap of the top skin meeting the bottom skin and the wedge is too far recessed. bottom line is that the elevator skin is not aligned and the wedge is not providing enough gap. Reordered all parts to reconstruct elevator. ~ $260 with shipping. Maybe third time is the charm. Re start the whole assembly and stop trying to make things fit.
