Brief Description: Continue with leading edge bend and clean up
Using 3/4 PVC and wood blocks I've taped the PVC (and braced it) against the lower part of the rudder skin where I need to the bend to start. Had good success with top, smaller, skin width so now trying with bottom wide part. Original bend did not get a good radius bend near spar. Final bends are as god as I can get them by myself. Skins slightly reshaped, clecos in place and install easily. Taped between holes to hold skins in place for drilling and pop rivet installation. Checked clearances: top 1 5/8's bottom 1 3/4 inches. Both are almost perfect. Final joint / overlap will be good but not as pretty as I had hoped.
Also cleaned up trailing edge rivets. Next step is to drill out with #30 drill and install AD-41-ABS rivets
