Brief Description:  Finishing the Vertical Stabilizer

Restart the construction of front spar and ribs. Problem was riveting the vs 704 & 705 rib to the VS 702 Stabilizer - angle was too difficult to use squeezer and the called for rivet (AN470AD4-5) seems too long and keeps falling over when driving rivet.
Called Tech / Builders support and the said that I could go down to a 4-4 or use a pop rivet LP4-3 or am MSP42.
have a few LP4-3s not used (yet) and lp4-3 is in bag 2011 of the Fuselage crate and MSP 42 is included in the wing kit. Getting examples of each and see which one looks like it will work better.
Builders support said that the main purpose of these rivets is to hold things together until the skin is rivet on - once that is in place then there are plenty of rivets holding everting together.
Used the MSP 42 from the wing kit - worked great and was far no scratches. Can't believe these three holes cost me three weeks (plus that I was gone on vacation)!!
