Brief Description: Cut down reflector and rivet to size
Reflector bracket is too long as shipped. Needed to cut back ~ 1" and use end piece to rivet back on bracket to make it shorter. Cut with band saw. Trimmed up tail piece. Taped cut off end on original bracket and test fitted in bay used for landing light. Finally got it close. Clamped and drilled holes. THEN I turned it over and discovered I centered the rivet line on the cut off piece and I should have taken into account the overlap of original bracket. Net result was that the rivet line was only one rivet diameter from the edge. Drilled another line of rivets (split difference between rivet line and inner edge - left ~ 2 rivet diameters between lines). Scuffed cut off piece and used Alodine pen. Scuffed edge of original bracket and alodined it. Dimpled all pieces. Used pneumatic squeeze to set all rivets. Two nice even, straight lines of rivets. That sucker is NEVER coming off!
