I fit the horizontal stabilizer skins and drilled/clecoed them to the HS frame. The first (top) side is pretty easy, but the bottom side has to be pulled into place and aligned while drilling, which takes some real muscle. Kellie gave me some help keeping things straight and aligned for the first few critical holes.
I left the top section of holes (marked red in pic 2 below) undrilled, so that there will be enough play when I fit the fiberglass stabilizer tips. I don't know if it's really necessary, but I know the fit will be *very* tight, so it can't hurt.
