I had to take a break from working on the VS and HS, since I'm waiting on parts, so I laid out the elevators. I marked the line where the center rib will go, and I'll trill that and the end ribs next.
The inner ribs connected to the elevator drive horn might be problematic. To get the overall assembly to the specified 78" length, I have to float the ribs in quite a bit, leaving some "overhang over the ribs on the inside. I may end up having to trim the skins down, but since the other rib measurements come from the the outside, I can go ahead and drill the outermost two ribs and the skins and then see how things look.
