I filed the rudder skins I had cut to strighten the lines out, and cut the asymmetrical notches in the skins per the plans for the rudder drive horn. I used a 1/8" drill bit to put in the 1/16" radius for the notch corners, then cut out the notches with aviation snips. Filed edges smooth with a fine file.
Since this completes cuts on the rudder skins, I went ahead and deburred all the skin edges with a two-sided edge deburring tool. The rudder skin should now be ready for assemby, but I won't know for sure that it's dimensioned properly until the drive horn assembly is complete and test-fitted.
