Measured rudder for the cuts needed to trim to correct dimensions. Lots of measuring, drawing lines, then measuring against the lines to get everything exactly right (I hope).
There's still some layout on the backside rudder horn notch to be done, I'm waiting for some clarification from Sonex on that before proceeding.
I went ahead and cut the rudder to length, 41 63/64". That dimension will change on the trailing edge once I make the angled cut, and I could have just made the angled cut straight away, but I wanted to get some experience cutting the sheet before making a critical cut.
A bandsaw was used to cut through the acute trailing edge bend, then aviation snips did the rest.
