Brief Description: Lowered Seat - Control Rod Hat Cover
Installed the "hat" that covers the elevator pushrod for the lowered seat modification. The hat attaches to the center angles under the seat with nutplates and screws. Nutplates are not my favorite things to install, and mine usually end up looking pretty ugly.
These came out okay, but the lack of a good 3/32" dimple tool means I use my 1/8" dimple tool with light pressure...I usually over-dimple them. They work fine and the nutplates are secure, but they don't look great. Luckily that hat covers them so people won't laugh and snicker at them.
