Made the cips for the rudder brackt assemblies. These are made from 0.060" 6061-T6, which is pretty thick and hard to bend. Making things more complex is the required 1/4" radius of the bend. I figured an easy way to do this... I had been using a pair of lengths of common Home Depot aluminum angle to keep my steel vise jaws from marring aluminum parts. I took one them and used the Scotch-Brite wheel to put a radius on one of them. I did it by eyeball, and tested it on some thin scrap to get the bend radius correct. As you can see in pic #2, the bends came out very well. Do bend the thick metal I just used a rubber mallen and pounded the pieces around the radiused vise angle.
The drilling was anti-climactic and wend without issue.
