My aftermarket pitot also contains an AOA (angle of attack indicator with the Dynon glass system I am installing.
The mast for this pitot is longer than stock and required a reinforced plate with countersunk screw holes for flush mounting under the wing. To connect the green and blue lines to this prior to install on airplane required Pam and I to lift the wing high onto spacers temporarily.
Once the fittings were flared, and installed, I could remove the pitot and mast until wing is painted. Installation will then be through the access port OB edge of locker where the riv-nuts were installed.
