After double and tripple checking all measurements along the trailing edge of the left elevator I was ready to attach the elevators and skip ahead in the plans to drill the holes for the elevator push rod. My old drill press was pretty worn out so it was off to Northern tools to pick up an 8" press. I was able to successfully drill both control horns and attach all hardware per the construction manual. The final result was all hardware is tight and the elevators rotate smoothly. I actually temporally installed an aileron pushrod to move the elevators. Cool to see the control surfaces move in unison!!
