Today I was able to rivet the tail cone together. I have also been studying other builder sites and getting ideas on rudder cable fairings. Cleveland tool sells a nice pair that cover the factory plastic tubes and clean up the look. I spent a couple of hours on the left side skin while it's still open and there's easy access.
After installing the keeper rivets and riveting on the skin the tail spring mount gap drew up nice.
