Brief Description:  fourth attempt on the practice piece

Ok so here's the fourth bend attempt. I cut the end off the practice piece and repeated the steps of tracing, cutting, and dressing the origional trim tab. After clamping everything in place with the 3M tape to hold it all I bent the edges again, This time I got the same perfect results I got on the first practice piece. I believe I have cracked the code!!

Several things learned.

1. Use a good hard wood at least 1" thick to hold the tab.
2. Clamp it solidly to the work surface.
3. Make the initial bend with a large heavy block like a piece of 2 x 8 about a foot long
4. Finish the bend to a nice ninety degree angle with a flush rivet set and the pressure turned down
5. Mark the bend line 1/32" outboard of where you want the material bent and clamp it on that line
