After a couple of months hiatis due to a delayed shipment of my next kits, I was back in the shop finishing up the fairings on the tail section. I wasn't happy with the intial gaps between the fairings on both HSs so I built up the edges with epoxy/microballoons. I used a manilla folder to form the edges. The folder was easy to shape and also had some rigidity for the epoxy to form to. It turned out pretty good. The VS fairing had a gap at the leading edge so I filled and sanded those gaps too.
