Brief Description: Top side skin prep, match drilled VS
I prepped the top side skins...edged, deburred, scuffed and dimpled. Will prime them tomorrow. I also clecoed and bolted the VS to the aft fuselage so as to match drill two #12 holes. I put some wood under the leading edge of VS to support it because the rear spar is the only thing that holds it in place. The manual states you must ensure to keep the drill perpendicular to the spar. I used my square tungsten bucking bar and set it flat against the spar. This gave me a good visual of keeping the bit perpendicular in both the X and Y axes.
