Brief Description: Finished aft deck and replaced some bad rivets in
I was able to set the 4 rivets in the aft deck that I couldn't get with the squeezer. Mike came over to help for a few hours. Although the space was tight for the bucking bar and I'm not a fan of the offset cupped tool, it worked pretty well. Using that cupped offset is definitely a 2 person job. We also swapped out some of the poor rivets I had back riveted into the bottom skin. I went up to AD4-4's in 5 spots. IOT make the dimple fit the upsized rivet we used the 3x rivet gun and flat set against a -4 dimple die set and lightly tapped it. Mike held the female side with a tungsten bucking bar from the back side while I hit the male die from the outside with the rivet gun. It worked pretty well enlarging the dimple on the outside but the backside didn't do much.
