I finished dimpling some of the #30 holes in the side skins but did not dimple some of the #27 holes. There are 2 in the plans for the flush mounted plate that don't get dimpled and then all of the center nutplate holes along the top edge of the F1473 side skins are size #27 so I assume they don't get dimpled either. I countersunk all of the #40 holes in the longerons. I set up my drill press in the slot I use the DRDT. It seemed to work well. I used safety wire to keep the cage from spinning and also used Boelube in the holes since there were so many of them. One end of each longeron is tapered so I used the hand drill for the last foot or so of holes since using the drill press caused the cage to sit at an angle for this area.
