After a vacation week at Lake Murray SC it's time to get back to the project. Pulled all the parts for the Elevators. As with beginning each section, we begin with peeling blue vinyl, cutting, edging, deburring, etc. Some of the ribs come as one piece so they have to be split. There are 12 sets that will be separated. Once separated, there are 24 pieces that will eventually be riveted together to form ribs...that's a lot of edging and deburring. I used the band saw after drawing lines with a blue sharpie. There are 4 shear clips connected together as one that have to be separated as well. Only 3 are used. Once this was complete, let the edge prep begin.
