Brief Description: Attached left and right skins together
I attached the left and right skins together today using the blind rivets, LP4-3. Make sure to put a strip of double sided tape along the trailing edge prior to laying the skins together. I left the protective strip on one side of the tape and will remove that at a later date. You just have to push the clecoes through the tape but that's no problem. The plans recommend using two people to attach the skins together. It was only me today so I had to make do. Having two would've been easier but it wasn't bad doing it solo. I used various sizes of empty cardboard boxes to prop the skins up as I went along, it worked pretty well. The instructions are pretty clear so just make sure to align the stiffners and shear clips to each other correctly.
