Brief Description:  Riveted Bottom Rudder Assy

I riveted the bottom assembly of the rudder. There were a couple issues I had. First was the tight space at the trailing edge. I was able to use the numatx squeezer but I used my thin nosed squeezer yokes and pry'd up the trailing edge slightly to get it in. It worked but be careful prying up the trailing edge. I removed a few clecoes but I had already set the double sided tape so that peeled off slightly.
Next was putting the rudder horn brace in place. It's a very tight fit with a lot of things riveted in that area already. The manual tells you to only rivet the aft 8 holes of the bottom assy and attach strip. That's so you leave the forward holes free so you manipulate the rudder horn brace into place. I ended up drilling out the rivet in Image 1 so I could squeeze the horn into place. That was riveted from a previous page but I had to remove it.
Third, when installing the pop rivets on the bottom to attach 904A to 904B, the forward most rivet can't be pulled strait because the rudder horn is in the way. I used the piece of the trailing edge wedge as suggested in Ch 5 to pull it. It worked well.
