For the remote door lock I had to replace the original cable lume with the proper mil spec aircraft wire, as well as make it to the right length. Thereafter I glued the box to the ceiling first cutting the carpet away which was already prepared and not glued to safe some time with cleaning. I always though I will use these spare blind slats sometime, after 18 years I had a use for them, the perfect spring to hold the box against the ceiling till the glue set.
