A simple small task turned again quit complicated, or it’s just me! Mounting the nutplate straight onto the wing with the raff fibre surface will create some problems when the wing gets mounted as the AOT bolt can bind and also create a pressure point to the glass on particular points. To avoid this, I made this tool, a 5mm aluminium disk with a square bolt through, this covered with PVC separation paint and a little bit epoxy glue inserted through the back has created a flat surface.
