After measuring the right position for the steps to mount, which is more the outer hole position of the mounting plate where still the install of the nut is possible due to the height restriction! First I cleaned the surface as good as possible from loose fibres and gave them a good sand, which is quite time consuming because of the awkward position. Then I used the supplied cloth and also used some carbon fibre I had around to distribute the load a bit more, so I put 2 layers of glass one of carbon and one of glass again. After drilling the wholes I glued the back plate with some flocks to the floor. As the floor is not even due to the moulding I thought it will be good to fill in any voids with flocks to distribute the pressure better.
