After waiting for a V- Drill Block, to drill holes in centre of a pipe, I realised when fitting the weldment to the leg that there was 0.3mm clearance between leg and pipe. Too much for me to let it be, I was looking for some shim material to fill the gap of 0.15mm around the leg. Occasional beer drinking was in this case a benefit as the recently consumed beer cans have the exact measurement for the shim of the leg! One layer of alum raped around the leg was a perfect fit which even required a small gap between the alum join so that the air can escape when pushing the leg in. The V-block was worth the waiting as it was very useful and easy to drill these holes in centre.
