Today I cut some Aluminium square tube and 20mm x 3mm flat 12" long aluminium bar to make the holder for the fibre glass spats. To get them in centre I have to have 20mm space on both sides. there is a lot pressure from the spat as it is just a bit to narrow moulded, or not the right size! the square aluminium will give enough support to keep both sides separated from the wheel. All it needs to get welded tomorrow and hopefully it fits as it was very difficult to do any exact measuring.
