Brief Description: Rivets tail cone parts together.
Tonight I riveted the F-712 bulkhead to the F-779 bottom tail cone skin. Hand squeezing didn't work well with the angled surfaces so I had to drill out three rivets. Rivet gun and narrow tungstun bar was better but still awkward in this tight space. I then riveted the two keeper rivets to WD-409 and F-712. I then bolted WE-409 tail spring mount to F-711 bulkhead and torqued to 60 in-lbs and then torqued sealed the nuts to show they were complete. It felt good to finally start riveting this thing together.
