Not the best work session, but I did get the F-601Z fuel pump doubler riveted to the firewall finally. I missed a note previously in the plans that says the flush side of the rivet heads go on the aft side which is opposite of all the other rivets on the firewall.
I had already dimpled the doubler so I countersunk the other side and back riveted it on. It turned out ok and is flush on both sides other that the nut plates. Its not a structural part so near perfect isn't required. It will work fine and I will build on.
