Today was another one of those milestone days. The fuselage kit arrived right on time when Van's said it would eight weeks ago. ABF gave me a window of two hours for delivery and the truck arrived at 2:00 pm. Gerry loaned me his 3 Ton cherry picker/engine hoist and all the chains, straps, etc. Colten and his buddy's Joey and Danny came over to help and did their best Captain Morgan immitation in the first picture. The cherry picker worked really good and made the whole process a non-event. Gerry also let me use two dolly's and we just rolled the box in the garage.
Vans has shipped thousands of these kits and they really have the packing process down. The box was completely full and everything arrived in perfect condition. This is going to be fun.
