Brief Description: Gathering of Eagles after party 1

A friend of mine who I know through work invited me along to an after party for the Gathering of Eagles event that is held each convention at the EAA Museum Eagle Hanger. The event raises over a million dollars for the Young Eagles program. I met up with Laurie and her sister Kristen at the party and it was a great time. We met some notable celebrities including Harrison Ford, Bob Hoover, and Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger.
Harrison Ford is obviously a famous actor, but is also an accomplished pilot and a strong general aviation supporter. He is a past president of the EAA Young Eagles. I didn't actually meet him or get introduced, but did take some pictures of him and the gaggle of women around him. Tough life that Harrison Ford.
I also met, and briefly talked to Chelsey "Sully" Sullenberger. He was the Captain on the US Airways flight 1549 that ran geese through both engines causing them to fail. His quick thinking and calm response along with the First Officer Jeff Skiles, allowed them to ditch in the Hudson River and save everyone on board. I didn't talk to him for more than a minute, but he was very cordial.
Earlier that day, Colten, Tanner, and I listened to Sully and Skiles talk in a forum setting along with one of the passengers from the flight. It is a harrowing story and something I hope to avoid. It's too bad goose didn't taste better.......
