Brief Description: Flew formation with several RV's
I was fortunate to meet up with some RV builders at the Lees Summit, MO airport. I went there on the advice of a friend of mine and ended up meeting Bill, whose -7 is shown in the first picture. While looking at his plane and talking with him he asked me to go formation flying with him and three other RV pilot/builders.
I jumped at the chance and flew right seat in Bill's -7. He has it equiped nicely in the cockpit and it has a IO-390 engine with a constant speed prop so it is a fast RV. The flight was awesome and he and the other guys are real pros. They practice several times a week if able and it shows.
This was a great experience and the hanger flying back on the ground was great too. The hospitality they showed a total stranger was really something. Thanks to Bill, Keith, Mike, and Kevin for a great flight!
