Brief Description: Deburred and trimmed blue plastic.
This morning I match drilled the elevator trim servo mounting plate to the left elevator skin. The rest of the time was spent trimming the blue plastic from both skins on the rivet lines with a soldering iron. This is time consuming and doesn't accomplish anything as far as building the airplane goes. The skins are better protected, but I plan to paint the plane and the surfaces will get roughed up for paint adhesion down the road anyway. This activity may stop at some point, we'll see.
