Brief Description:  Riveted rudder trailing edge.

This morning I riveted the trailing edge of the rudder. First step was to insert the flush 3-3.5 rivets in one side and apply rivet tape to hold them in place. I then flipped the rudder over and followed the directions to partially rivet, skip a few, partially rivet, etc. This is done to secure the skins evenly along the length so the edge doesn't warp unevenly. Once all of the rivets were partially riveted, I then finished back riveting them to final height.

By taking my time and working evenly along the entire edge, my rudder trailing edge turned out nice. It needs a little clean up, but the double flush rivets look good and the edge is within the 1/10" tolerence per Van's Aircraft specs.
