Today I spent about an hour and a half finishing the front spar braces by tapering and rounding the ends. Then I had to bend them to a 6* angle by hitting them with a hammer while clamped in the vise. Next, I had to trim the front of the spar to have the same bend. This took about 2 hours trying to figure out where exactly to cut and what the plans mentioned for minimum distance between the edge of the material and any drilled holes. Finally, the plans called for a dimple and countersink on the innermost holes.
