Today started with fabricating a shim and the bottom fairing attach points out of sheet aluminum. Vans gives a few measurements to cut the parts out yourself from sheets and all went easily according to the plans. Next, I trimmed the brace for the rudder horn attachement and fit it and the doublers to the rudder spar. It's going to be tricky to buck these rivets I think. Finally, I spent some time fluting the tip rib and prepping the top fairing attachment strip.
