Brief Description:  Drilling Left Stab & Priming

This weekend I spent a lot of time repeating the same steps I'd just accomplished, but on the left stabilizer this time. It went about 50% faster as I didn't have to scratch my head and stare at the plans for each step. With the left side drilled, now I was able to prime the spar bars. There are two camps in the RV community: prime EVERYTHING or prime only what's required. I went back and forth for months before deciding to save some weight and time by only priming what's required. Priming protects against corrosion and will help the plane live to be 100 years old, but I figure I only need it to last me 50, and then I don't care what happens to it. Aluminum is very corrosion resistant, but some parts still need to be primed, and that's what's in the picture. I've got a few more steps until I get to bang some rivets and finish this thing!
