Brief Description: Removing toe brake bars from right side.
Finished removing the full rudder assembly. We have brakes only for the left seat - se we decised to remove the brake bars on the right side.
Our logic is that if brake bars are fitted - they should work. As we are not fitting brakes on the right side, it would be misleading to leave the brake bars in place. Carefully cut the last 1/8"" of the rudder bars - then twisted off the rest of the stopper - then slid the brake bars off. Filed the ends smooth. Will paint the exposed bars later to control corrosion. Will keep the brake bars - we can always put them back on should we decide to fit right side brakes later.....
