Once the fule level senders were all fixed - on to step 1 of fuel calibration - setting up on the sender units in the tanks.
Rather than working on total fuel in tanks, I used the electric boost pump to "suck" each tank dry so only the unusable fuel was left in each tank. Then I tripped the button on each sender unit to tell the unit that each tank was empty, then filled each tank in 5 ltr increments, taking a dip measure after each so I can make and accurate fuel dip stick. Got both sides done.
Now have to repeat the exercise (step 2) using the same 5 ltr increments - to calibrate the Skyview so it knows accurately how much fuel is in each tank at any time.
