Adjusted the idle speed to 1,000rpm. Plugged in the headset and tested the radio - Sheryl advised that my calls were very clear from all around the field (she listened on the handheld).
Did a quick fast taxi on runway 23 and the revs settled at 2,650rpm - that should be exactly right - which means I set the prop pitch correctly. Brakes all worked well.
Engine is running slightly roughly now. Left mag only sees a 120rpm drop (should be a max drop of 100rpm) and Right mag only sees a large 200rpm drop. This will be the next chellenge ...
Fitted the stick travel stop but the rubber construction didn't work. Will work on version two now.
