Wasn't happy with the weights - we had 1 main wheel at 126kg and 1 at 142kg. So Robert and I did the measurements again slowly and carefully (easier with no helpers around) and with some cross-checking we worked out 1 of the 3 scales wasn't reading properly. We rotated the scales until we got consistent and reasonable readings.
Nose wheel 97kg, left main 139kg and right main 142kg - giving a total of 378kg (unusable fuel in tanks, engine oil in etc). Peter T's weighed at 372kg which would be right (he had a more acreful and lighter paint job).
Again Peter T spent most of the day working with us on the flap controller. We created a separate earth and that allowed me to program 2 positions (up and down!) so that will do for now ...
Niggly work - one of the nut plates worked loose behind the panel so Robert drilled it out and fitted a new one. Would be better to get the plane flying before doing too much more general repair work!
