Read up the manual then visited Graham Byass to borrow him and his scales. Had to lift the maisn 50mm to get the plane to exactly flight attitude. Lifted the plane up onto the 3 scales and took the readings. One of the scales took a while to stabilise but eventually got all readings.
Used the plumb-bob to mark the position of the nose (end of spinner), nose wheel, firewall and mains. Took all the measurements and noted them carefully. Did a quick calculation and it looks like the balance (cog) is where it should be. Will do some more careful calculations tomorrow and norte them here ....
