Brief Description:  Locating cables & holding cables at actuating arms

In the first photo you can just see the Cabin Heat control cable being held in position by the drop-down bar. Routed all the cables carefully and fixed them in position. Mounted the outer ends of the cables, then cut the actuating cables to length. Afetr much thinking and hunting, I found RC model axle lugs with grub screws. These are designed to hold small wheels to axles - but they hold the actuating arm pins very well. It means I can (in the future) undo the grub screws and slip the lugs off - and withdraw the cable.
